I got my radio license October 2nd 1981 and became the Chief Announcer at WSCC where I hosted Rod's Rockpile. I then worked for WDMC in Richmond until graduating from Eastern Kentucky University. Fall of 1985, I worked the night shift for First Radio in Somerset for a year or so then became the morning guy for WSFC-AM & WSEK-FM...a lot of running from studio to studio. I always wanted to work at a Classic Rock station...and when WKEQ Classic Hits Q97 hit the airwaves in September 2006...my dream came true. I hosted  afternoon drive on the Q until October 11th 2011 but still fill in on Q97 anytime I get the chance. My new adventure began April 8th 2013 with Roots of Rock on iHeart Radio. I host this awesome show 2am to 5am 7days a week on iHeartRadio search Classic Hits Q97.
