I know it's a little early to be talking about an event in March...but I'd really like to see all my runner and walker friends at this 5K....and I'd like to see you sign up early!

Not only is it a fundraiser for the Somerset Junior Woman's Club (of which I've been a member since 1988)...but it is also a fundraiser for the American Heart Association in memory of my very dear friend, Trish.

If you like to run or walk...if you want to help a couple of great causes...if you want to do something to honor the memory of a good friend of local music...or if you just want to get out and get ready for spring...I'd love to see you there!  (And, if you preregister, you get a t-shirt!)

 

Here are the details:

The SJWC Bunny Hop 5K Run/Walk will be in memory of Trish Hicks on Saturday, March 9th at the main Somerset Community College campus in Somerset.  This 5K Run/Walk will benefit The American Heart Association.

Preregistration of $15.00 will be due on March 1st. Only those preregistering will recieve a T-shirt.  On site registration is $15.

 

Registration will begin at 9 am on Run/Walk day. The shotgun start will be at 10 am.
Prizes in age groups for males and females are as follows:     10 & under,  11-14,  15-19,  20-25,  26-30,  31-36,  37-45,  46-53,  54-64,  65 and older

SJWC will also be giving a prize for the runner or walker who competes in the best bunny costume....so grab some bunny ears and join in the fun if you'd like!
