I'm looking for judges for the Clear Channel-Lake Cumberland/Don Marshall Battle of the Bands. Each year, we add one or two TEEN JUDGES so that the younger voice can be heard and the younger music lover can have some input in the process. This year, we will also be adding an ADULT AT-LARGE JUDGE to the panel to get another voice from the community.
Requirements:
TEEN JUDGE candidates must still be in high school and must be between the ages of 14 and 18.
ADULT AT-LARGE JUDGE candidates must be out of high school, but can be in college OR in the workforce and must be any age over 18.
BOTH must have a true love for music, enjoy and understand various genres of music (Bluegrass, Metal, Rock, Country, Blues, New Age, Classical, Contemporary Christian, Screamo, etc.), have NO friendships or family ties with any of the bands or band members in the competition and must be available the entire period from 4pm on Friday, January 4th through 8pm on Sunday, January 6th. Playing a musical instrument or having extended training in music, promotions, marketing, the arts or event planning will be considered a plus in your consideration.
There is no monetary compensation for those on the panel, but meals and snacks will be provided to the panel members throughout the competition. Security will also be provided to those on the panel while on the premises of the event.

Also, please include a paragraph or two about why you want to be on the judging panel and include any of the special attributes you might bring to the panel (play a musical instrument, trained in promotions or marketing, etc.)
