My cousin posted a Facebook status today about seeing THREE mullets while he was sitting on a bench in Lexington.  That got me to thinking about the 'mullet'...and thinking usually leads to some interesting blog photos or messages.

So...I've posted the photo of a mullet I found in Rockcastle County this summer (his face is hidden so he isn't identified). This was a rather curly, tangled up mullet...not necessarily the 'vintage' mullet syle, but a mullet all the same!

And...I think it's time to see some other mullets from around the area!

Do you have an old picture of yourself or your husband or your best friend with a mullet? Why not share them...and let us all have a good laugh? (Be as nice as possible!)

Have you ever just snapped a photo of an 'unknown mullet?' I'll admit it...I pose for certain pictures or have someone with me pose for a photo to capture those 'renegade' mullets I find every so often.  It's easy to do...just act like you're taking a picture of your friend by placing them in front and to the right or left of the mullet-head.  Zoom into the mullet, snap the shot and no one will ever know the difference! Just make sure you don't get the mullet owner's face...that could be a little touchy! And, if he/she catches you, just tell them you are taking a photo of your friend and he/she just happened to be in the shot in the background. Whatever you do, don't show him/her the photo!!!

After you do the deed...post your pics on our Facebook page!  I want to see what you find or what you can dig up out of old photo albums or yearbooks!
