This announcement got every true KISS fan excited. We all thought there would be at least a 15-minute reunion of the original band as it was honored and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 10th.
But, this weekend... the band announced they will NOT be performing live at the induction ceremony. Not with the current line-up. Not with the original line-up. And, they say it's because they will be on tour at the time of the cermony.
I didn't expect the original members to get together on that stage and all of a sudden forget about their past diasagreements and be BFF's! I did, however, expect them to give their fans something we've all wanted to see for a long time....the original line-up together ONE more time! Even if for just for one song...just "Rock and Roll All Nite"...ONE MORE TIME!
It's disappointing. But, even if they couldn't "put the band back together" for just a few minutes...would die-hard KISS fans want to see the CURRENT line-up play at the ceremony? It's a tricky question, isn't it?
What is your opinion? I'm curious!
